Introducing Student Night at The Star from 7pm-late!! Every Wednesday night is now student night. A place to come have fun and get some good value food and drinks. Entertainment from a DJ or a band (follow our socials for update or to put your name forward to perform). We have plenty of food offers from a burger and a drink from £13.99, 2 main courses for £13.99 and three bar snacks for £14.99. Drink offers of 2 for £10 on cocktails, 2 shots for £5, two bombs for £6 and bottled lagers at 2 for £7 or 4 for £13.... what's now to love!!! In just over a month's time Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois will step into the ring together for the second time — this time with the undisputed heavyweight championship on the line. It all happens on Saturday, July 19.
Alexa will be performing pre fight to build the atmosphere and get us really going from 7pm.
We will have pre-fight entertainment from the amazing Alexa, who will be building up the atmosphere for an incredible night.
The fighters first met in 2023, with Usyk successfully defending the WBA, IBF, WBO, IBO, and The Ring titles via ninth-round stoppage.
However, the bout was not without controversy as a punch from Dubois in the fifth round was deemed a low blow by the referee, who then allowed Usyk nearly four minutes to recover.
To this day, Dubois maintains that the punch was legal, adding spice to an already massive rematch.
Additionally, Dubois now comes with the IBF title that Usyk vacated last year, giving both men the opportunity to leave with more belts than they arrived with
